Two free transcriptions a day. No account, no card, no language to pick.

Open the dictation studio

Three steps, once.

Audexum is a dictation tool that turns speech into punctuated text in 100+ languages, with the language detected automatically rather than selected. It runs as a Windows app with a global hotkey and in any browser with nothing installed. Two transcriptions a day are free, with no account and no card.

01

Pick a key

Choose the shortcut once in the Windows app. It works in every program. In the browser it is one button.

02

Talk

Press the key, say it, press it again. You do not set a language; it is worked out as you speak.

03

Text lands

Punctuated, capitalised, fillers gone, straight into the field your cursor is already sitting in.

Say it messy. Get it clean.

Ums, restarts and run-on sentences go in. Punctuated, capitalised text comes out, in the field you were typing in.

Over a hundred languages, worked out as you speak

Yours is not an afterthought. The engine picks the right one as you talk, whether that is Bulgarian, Polish, Greek, Arabic or Japanese.

One key, in whatever you are typing in

The Windows app puts dictation on a global shortcut and types into Word, Outlook, Excel or Teams. The browser needs nothing installed.

Questions.

Can I try dictation without creating an account?

Yes. Audexum allows 2 free transcriptions per day with no account and no card: 60 seconds recorded from the microphone, or 5 minutes and 25 MB uploaded. A free account adds 2,000 credits to start, then 250 a day, no card, plus the global shortcut, history and file transcripts.

Which languages can I dictate in?

Over 100, detected automatically, so you never set one, including Bulgarian, Polish, Greek, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin and Turkish.

Does it work in Word, Gmail, Excel and Teams?

Yes, through the Windows app. It types into whatever text field has your cursor: Word, Outlook, Gmail in a browser, Excel, Teams, Slack, a chat box. It behaves exactly like a keyboard.

Do I have to install anything?

No. The Windows app gives you the global shortcut and is better for daily work, but browser dictation needs no installation, which is what you want on a locked-down work laptop, a Chromebook or Linux.

Does it add punctuation and capital letters?

Yes. After recognition the text goes through a cleanup pass that punctuates, fixes capitalisation and drops the ums and false starts, rather than handing back a raw word stream.

Where is my audio processed?

On our servers in the European Union or, at peak times, a sub-processor listed on our sub-processor page. Audexum is a European company, so GDPR is the default rather than an enterprise add-on, and we never use your audio to train models.

How is this different from Wispr Flow or Superwhisper?

Wispr Flow and Superwhisper are dictation-only, and Superwhisper is macOS-first. Audexum covers 100+ languages, processes audio on EU servers under GDPR, and the same account also generates speech in 32 languages, so there is one subscription instead of two.

What does dictation cost?

Two transcriptions a day are free here with no card. A free account adds 2,000 credits to start, then 250 a day, no card. Dictation costs 200 credits a minute, and paid plans start at €12 a month, on the same credits as text-to-speech.
