What "besides dictation" looks like

The column Win+H leaves empty

AI cleanup: the ums and restarts go, punctuation and capitals arrive, whether or not you spoke them.

Dictation and voice, one balance

The same credits run dictation, file transcripts and text-to-speech. One bill instead of two.

Got any questions left?

What is the best dictation app for Windows in 2026?

For most people it comes down to what you need besides dictation. Audexum Dictate covers dictation, text-to-speech and a REST API on one subscription from €12/mo and also runs in a browser with no install. Wispr Flow is the most polished if you only ever dictate and want the same app on your phone. Superwhisper is the pick if you want offline processing or a one-time lifetime licence. Windows' own Win+H is free and fine for short bursts.

Is Windows Voice Typing good enough?

It is free, built in, and it transcribes accurately enough. What it does not do is clean up: no filler-word removal, only basic automatic punctuation, no formatting that matches the app you are typing into. That gap is the entire reason paid dictation apps exist.

Which dictation app supports Bulgarian?

Audexum dictates in 100+ languages including Bulgarian, and auto-detects which one you are speaking. It runs on EU servers, puts dictation on a global hotkey on Windows, and puts text-to-speech on the same subscription.

Can I dictate without installing anything?

Audexum's browser studio does dictation in a tab, which is the only option on a locked-down work laptop, a Chromebook or Linux. Wispr Flow, Superwhisper and Win+H all require a native install.

Do any of these also do text-to-speech?

Audexum does: 43 voices across 32 languages, spending the same credits as your dictation. Wispr Flow, Superwhisper and Windows Voice Typing are speech-to-text only.
